Anybody try putting chalk on you pot call? On my glass call it made it sound pretty good

Do it all the time on my copper calls. Put some on the end of your striker also. Works good.

I use Rain Chalk on some slick aluminum calls. I also do like Daryl and put it on the tips of my strikers for some calls. It really helps the striker grip the surface.

Interesting... I've never tried this.  I'll give it a shot.

I use rain chalk alot on all my pot calls except my slate. It really does eliminate some of the striker slipping. On a really slick surface it really makes a difference on consistancy. It is messy as someone else mentioned. On a darren dawkins aluminum call he sent me a pool cue chalk cube. Use your striker on it like your chalking a pool stick. Just a very light coat works wonders but too much is like not having any. Hope this helps someone
