Called in this bird for my little cousin this morning and he smoked him @ 15 yards! It is his first tom ever! Great day and a great start to the Iowa turkey season. Bird was 23 lbs, 10 in. beard, and 7/8 in. and 1 in. spurs.

One of my personal current interests is nest predators and how a majority of hunters, where legal bait to the extent of chumming coons.  However once they get the predators concentrated they don't control them.
