I recieved a phone call today from a buddy of mine that i haven't spoken to in a long while. Seems he just leased over a hundred and fifty acres of private land that borders the National Forest. My friend invited me to join the club he is forming on this property along with one of his other friends so there will only be 3 of us total. Now the really good news. He said he was looking around the property this past weekend and saw turkeys everywhere. Now for the great news.... niether my friend or the other guy hunts turkeys.!! He said he knew i did, so he wants to meet me one afternoon this week and show me around and give me the key to the gate. I thought i was going to have to wait til April 1st to get the season started , but if it works out like i plan i will be after them this Saturday.
