Several great box call makers out there, and Darrin is one of them in my opinion. Here are some short boxes and long boxes he has made for me. Super guy who makes a turkey call that will do what it was made to do---- call a turkey.
Short boxes----top to bottom, walnut over mahogany, walnut over poplar, and walnut over walnut
Long boxes----top to bottom, red cedar over mahogany, red cedar over poplar
