Long story short - issue with back-up shotgun. While I was getting things worked out, thought I would swap from lead to HW#7. I have the chokes to switch already.

OK Gang, I have heard good and bad about the HW#7 on all the talk Forums. Give me an update please. Not interested in the Win LB shells.

They are good shells but need to be choked very tight to defeat the intended purpose of the FliteControl Wad.

Thanks,
Clark

Clark your the first person to openly say what I have been thinking all along.  Slow that wad down at the muzzel like a conventional wad.  I tried them in the PG unported Tempest which is supposedly made for them and they were awful.  Now the wad flew 40 to 45 yards but shot went everywhere.

PALongspur

They crush turkeys!

Try them through something pretty tight, like a .650.
