First bird of the year,Nice two year old.Just what you want for the first one.!! Gobbled at least 25 times on the limb,went quite after 20 minutes,made my first call after he went quite and he cut me off on the first note.!! flew down and started drumming and strutting just out of sight about 80 yards out.Gobbled and strutted every step of the way over the next 15 minutes,rolled him up at 40 steps at 6.45 am .!!!! Just can't get a better hunt than that.!!!!! There is NOTHING better than a bird gobbling at 40 steps in the south Alabama woods. !! 9' beard,3/4" spurs,19 lbs
