I wish I had a camera with a good zoom with me...
Went to the lease in central tx to fill deer feeders and do some turk scouting. Stopped at a spot and hit the call, heard a couple hens call back, and got them to come out of the trees. And they just kept on coming out. 38 was the count with one jake strutting amongst them.
Good and bad I guess...We've got the girls, but maybe too many of them! We'll see once the season opens.
