Both of these were taken with Federal Heavyweight #7's. one with a 11-87 3 1/2, 23inch barrel and the other with a 870 3 inch ,26inch barrel. Both were taken between 25-30 yards. Lee

Here is mine. Mossberg 835, topped with a Burris FFIII, and choked with a .670 Truglo SSX. I feed her Hevi-13 3-2-7's.

Here is the end result from that combo.

Mike, your 835 looks like the short barrel version on mine. Your breakup pattern has better color though. The FFIII looks good on it!

Agreed, Deer Hunting in snow i enjoy. Turkey hunting in snow i don't. However that was opening day 2012. I could not sit inside. Lee

Yes, it is the 20" barreled version. I sent the SSX choke and FFIII rain cover to lostncamo for the dip job. I was very pleased.
I must say, your 835 really looks awesome, and she sure gets the job done!

Gotta love the turkey on the tree pics.  This is the first tom I ever called in.  Watched him come through the timber 100 yards away.  Glowing blue head - in and out of strut!!  This experience got me hooked on turkeys.
