Got my new Silver Eagle SE12. Now I need a good turkey choke. It uses the Beretta Mobil choke. What do you all suggest? I like using #6 or 5 shot.

I have no specific knowledge of that gun, however guns that use the Beretta/Benelli Mobil chokes normally do very well with Hevi-13 Turkey Chokes and with SSX Turkey Chokes. There are others of course and since I have no specific knowledge of your gun, I am making a general recommendation based upon my experience and that of others with guns using that thread pattern.

I shoot mostly #6 and #7 shot unless I'm doing some work for a reader, evaluating a new choke tube or gun or work evaluating a new shotshell.

Again, with the 2 chokes that work well with that thread type, either #6 or #7 shot Hevi-13 would be my recommendation.

Best of luck with your new gun and please let us know how it works for you.

Thanks,
Clark
