Belgium A5 Twenty?

I've got an old 1958 Belgium Browning A5 Twenty (full choke) that I would like to take turkey hunting. What kind of effective range do you think I can get out of this oldie but goodie and what 2 3/4 load would you recommend? I know steel is a no go but can you shoot heavy shot in these old Belgium barrels? I plan on buying some shells and patterning but I would love to hear some input. Thanks in advance!

I would go with the Fed HWT.  I would shoot it at 35 to see what numbers are.

I would give the Federal FC shells a try,the full choke usually does real well with these shells

I was wrong as it is actually an improved cylinder. I've also got an old "Light 12" with a modified choke that I have done some damage with before but I would really like to use the Twenty. Guess my range will be a bit limited with the improved cylinder though.

try the Federal Flight Control shells

I will be using my Dads old A5-20 mag this year. We unfortunately lost Pop this past week. I know there have been dozens of birds taken with this old gun, ( late 60's or early 70's model) just never used it myself. About 6 years ago Dad had a local gunsmith thread the original 26 in barrel and install a custom turkey choke, I believe it's a colonial non-ported brand. All he ever shot turkey's with were fed 2 3/4 #6 game loads, yea, I know those shells won't kill turkey's, but he sure scared a bunch of em to death, because there are quite a few beards hangin on his old gun rack. My suggestion would be try a couple different loads and pick the one that shoots best, then go enjoy the hunt.
