I've posted some of these previously, but here is a review of 2013 in Montana. The highlights include our first 3 turkeys in Montana, Isaac's first bow kill (whitetail), Isaac's first elk (2nd bow kill), Isaac's first and only walleye, and some nice rainbows. My elk and deer season ended with tags still in my pocket. The 2014 turkey season will be here before we know it and we are already planning a trip back to IL to hunt some Easterns. I've not hunted them the last two seasons, so we're looking forward to that as well as the Merriams here in MT.

The elk were always the next ridge over for me.
Isaac accompanied me on a few more hunts hoping we'd find a bear.
My daughter Olivia first weekend of general elk and deer season. I couldn't talk her into too many hunts but enjoyed the times she did go.
Cows on a far ridge during general elk season. I didn't have a cow tag so there was no use in hiking over there.
Some more treestand bowhunting for whitetails during the general season.
I took a buddy and his son to the area I had found the previous cows so many times since he had a cow tag, but they had been blown out by the time he could go.
