I'm interesting in trying a purr pot type call , and I was wondering do they usually have soundboards cause I was thinking they were like stated here just a single surface . Just interested thanks again JasonSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

A few have a very soft wood soundboard in them to help dull the sound and keep the call at a low pitch. A few are shaped similar to a tube call shape, that is small in dia. but twice as tall as a pot call with a tiny hold drilled in the bottom to let the sound out. That creates a deeper hollow soft tone, if they have a soundboard in them it will be glued solid to the walls and a hole drilled in the center like the baffle in a tube call.
