A buddy of mine found a spot loaded with turkeys on the public ground we hunt last year. He shot a jake,with his bow, and we had a ball there. Well I was there this year and shot a bearded hen,with my bow, and on my way out I saw a good buck. I told him where to set up and I got a txt from him early this am,"btw Im done". He shot a 9 pt. and said a bigger buck came out after he killed his buck. Im still waiting to hear more and see a pic but what a way to start opening morning of deer shotgun season.
