Kansas public land hunting

Checking if anyone here has hunted any of the public land in Kansas.  Several of my friends and I r thinking about heading out there this spring.  I think there are several kinds of properties. Public hunting areas and also walk in areas.  Any info would b appreciated.  Thanks
