My 14 yr old grandson took this very nice 11 point buck yesterday during Kansas Youth Season.
He was hunting with a .243 Rifle, Remington bolt action. The buck entered a hay meadow he was set up on at about 7:10 am and presented a 150 yd. shot. It was very hot and he had taken off his hunting clothes in this photo after recovering the deer.
Kolbi was shaking pretty bad he said but managed to get off a good shot. He said his jaw just dropped when they recovered him and he saw how big he really was. This is Kolbi's fourth buck of his hunting career but by far the biggest. This one is going to the taxidermist.
