Mark Twain National Forest

Considering a public land hunt in MO next spring.
Is there a good turkey population in the Mark Twain Nat Forest?
One member of our group is limited mobility.  What is the terrain like there?
Any special regulations we should be aware of?

And help or tips would be appreciated.  PM's will be kept private.

The hiils are big but there are plenty of birds.

I'll have to do a lot more research as to the exact location and nearby big cities and the surrounding territory.  Specifically to find out about hunting pressure.  Is any worse than "normal"?
Two guys in our hunting party have driven past it a few times and thought it looked like it should be good turk habitat.

 Mark Twain is great habitat with a good population. Hunting pressure can be heavy , but you can get away from if you are in goood enough shape to walk far from the roads. The hills are pretty challenging.

Mark Twain has some beautiful property that boasts very healthy turkey populations from my limited experience. The terrain is gently rolling hills for the most part and nothing too demanding. I hunted late in the season and the birds were very finicky but gobbled alot and gobbled well up into the morning. I did have to compete with some less than friendly locals but came out on top.

There are plenty of areas that are not as crowded as twain and alot easier walking.

Been hunting the Twain for the past 24 years as a non resident. Bird numbers are still down, but are coming back. The hills are not forgiving and the bird is always on the other ridge.

Seeing more and more hunters as the years pass, but I will keep going back as long as I can.

Sounds intriguing.  My PM box has room...
I've just begun investigating the possibilities and nothing is set in stone if you have any suggestions you could offer.  Our hunting partner can only do a couple of hundred yards on level ground. 
Any pointers will be kept private...
I'm not asking for honey holes, just some guidance.
