I went and ordered a Black Hawk Talon stock.



I am pretty excited. I sold $100.00 worth of flies and found this on ebay new in box for 75.00 so I jumped on it. It retails for around 140 or so. It has a recoil reduction system, which will be nice. Not that I will use it but the rear of the stock also has a storage pocket. I doubt I will be putting turkey calls and such in there but who knows.

Pretty excited to add this to my turkey gun overhaul. I was very happy with the pattern my gun put up with the choke i had bought, even with Remington Duplex ammo. It was definetly a killing pattern. With a little bit more fine tuning and maybe even a barrel polish this will be like a brand new gun.

Now I am asking for tips on how to get out of the dog house with the wife.

Nice find. If I make purchases that I know will upset the wife, I usually buy her a trip to the spa (usually about $45) & all is well. Put your extra $25 towards this and she will forget about what you bought.....

my 870 is black so i think that next camo will work well. I like the realtree ap patern and the greys of this look close.
