Getting ready to replace my old 870 which was stolen.  I've decided on an 870 Super Mag.  Any choke tube suggestions?  I had great luck with a Truglo STX in the .662 in my old gun.

Well, as always, guns pattern differently, so suggestions are just a starting point.
I shoot an 870 Super Mag through a Remington Ventilator extended and ported choke, I believe its in .655. I shoot Winchester Hi-Velocity 3-1/2" #4's. While most of my shots are at 20 yards or less, I've taken a few birds at 48-54 yards with this set up.

I am shooting a hevi-13 in my sm, .662 constriction. Over 300 in a 10" circle at 40 with Hevi-13, 3-1/2" #7's.

.660 jelly head here with 3.5" mag blends.

Don't overlook the Kick's Gobblin Thunder, .665. I have that in my super mag and I'm getting apprx 80% pattern at 30yds with Win HV's 3 & 3.5.

A couple years ago I was looking for a choke for my 870. I tried 4 chokes; IC, Comp-n-choke, PG and a Jellyhead. The jellyhead was the cheapest choke I tried and it out shot the others by a long ways.

I have used the Remington Model 870™ SPS™ Super Mag with the traditional stock. If I am hunting in Florida and my shots are going to be relatively close I use the factory choke that came with the gun. I have killed many Osceola's with the factory choke. You cannot use Hevi-Shot with the factory choke. If I go out of state and if I feel that my shots are going to be a little further out I use the Primos Jelly-Head choke.

Depends on what you want in a pattern.  If you want a hot center with the most pellets in the middle then an Indian creek is a good place to start.  if you want a tight pattern with a more even coverage, which is incidentally what I look for, then I would recommend Ballistic Specialties, Sumtoy, or maybe a Pure Gold.

One of my personal current interests is nest predators and how a majority of hunters, where legal bait to the extent of chumming coons.  However once they get the predators concentrated they don't control them.

My gun likes the regular Remington super full the best. Of the others jelly head threw the second best patterns.

If you get a new supermag and it comes with the HD turkey/predator choke give er a try. Mine averages 175 with 3in hevi 2 oz #6. Nice even pattern too. It pounds em at 40yds with that set up.

I started with a Primos Tight Wad in my 870.  It was OK at 40 Yds.  Moved up to a Kicks Gobblin Thunder and am very happy - I shoot Win. 3 1/2" #5s.  I can't shoot hevi-shot through the kicks.  I have also shot a Primos Jelly Head, which is better than the Tight Wad but not as good as the Kicks in my gun.  If you are shooting lead, I'd try a Kicks, if you want to shoot Hevi-Shot - I'd go with a Jelly Head (based on price and how they have patterned in my gun).  Any of the above will kill a tom at 40 yds (I have seen it with my own eyes) - just depends on how much you want to spend, and how many holes you want in their head - but dead is dead.

A .670 PG provides me with an excellent hunting pattern for shots as close as 20 yards out to 50 plus if I misjudge distance. The .670 constriction seems like a great compromise. This is after shooting RSF for 5-6 years then falling victum to the "how many in a 10" circle at 40yards"club.
