Does anyone know if there is a speedbead that will fit the new a300 outlander? Not sure if it will interchange with other model berettas. My wife and I bought one for our son as a combination h.s grad/eagle scout gift and he was thinking he'd like to have one to use for turkey hunting and leave on for wingshooting. We are very impressed with that gun, rock solid and shoots and handles very nicely. If anyone is looking for a reasonably priced gas auto I highly recommend checking these out. Thanks for any info!.......ward

We don't currently make one for that model but we haven't tried fitting any of our current models either so I'm not 100% sure.

Thank you Mr Burris for the reply! The gun receiver is a lot like the 390/3901 series, but I've heard it copies a lot of stuff from the 400 series also.It only came with one stock adjustment shim already installed on the gun,so if i find out what shims it takes it may point me in the right direction. If you find out anything  in the future please let me know. Thanks again!....ward

We are in the process of finding out the differences between the 2 guns as well so I will update you when I get word back about this.

Any news on this? I'm having the same problem finding a mount for my outlander to use a reflex sight also.
Thanks!

No news as of yet, but I was over on shotgunworld in the beretta forum awhile back and from what I gather a lot of parts interchange between the 400,390 and 391,so I'm guessing the shims are probably the same but I have not verified this.I have too many other projects going on right now so this is on my backburner lol!Might want to check with Burris optics here on the forum or maybe Beretta themselves.I do know we love our a300,it's a great gun.Good luck and welcome to O.G!...ward

Hey thanks for the welcome! From what I've been able to track down a jpoint/docter mount that mounts to the rib in front of the receiver will work but may require gun smithing I can not verify this though. The last I spoke with burris there was nothing available either. Though I do not know of the interchangeability of other beretta models. Also I've managed to track down a B-square mount that clamps to the rib in front of the receiver, I've yet to speak to anyone wether this will work but I'm tempted to purchase one and give it a try!  :fud:

Cool!Let me know how it works out if you go that route. The receiver on these seem to be pretty thick on top so a drill and tap job and rail should work too, although I don't know if anyone has attempted doing this on an a300 yet.

Update. Received the B-Square mount in the post today via CTD. Appears to have mounted up firmly, easy install, simply clamps to the vented rib, also has 4 set screws(2 on ea side) to allow for proper alignment down the rib. Will accept any weaver type optic.  :smiley-char092:
This is the B-Square universal cantilever rib mount. Pt#16175

Looks good! Are those model specific in regards to rib width or do they fit any width rib? Have you decided on what sight are you going to use?

Crueeldude13

Thanks! It fits any rib width up to 3/8".
I was interested in the sightmark qd reflex sight, the gentleman at my local academy sports recommended the Truglo as far as quality. He stated he's had a lot of the sightmarks comeback with internal damage from recoil, as opposed to literally none on the truglo. And the truglo was 30$ cheaper!
Complete setup just under 150$ can't complain at all.

Thanks for the info and pics!Have you decided on a choke and load to try yet?Keep me posted on your progress if ya can.Definately going to look into that mount.I was looking at a similar mount called the rib rider,i think aimtech makes them. They only show them for mossbergs and remingtons though,i would have to measure the rib width on the beretta to see if they would fit. Thanks again...ward

Hey no problem man, there's just not a lot of info avail on the outlander accessories yet, I hope there's more to come I love the gun. As for chokes I'm going with a set of Carlson waterfowl that should be here today or Monday, as for the loads honestly I'll shoot anything that works haha, I have win supreme steel, blackclouds, kent fast steel, federal bb and a few hevi shots in my blind bag. I don't care for the blindsides they suck without a blindside choke. I like mostly #3 shot, but I'm always open for others experience on that as well. Some prefer 2's some 3's some 4's. Since I'm just now learning I'm left eye dom but rh shooter I hope to see improvement with my shots and thus figure out a overall best shot load for me. Oh and the beretta has a 1/4" rib.
