Burris Fastfire iii Defect?????

     Hi guys I had a question, I finally saved up enough to buy a Fastfire iii for my Rem. I got it 3 days ago from a local sporting goods store, and when i got it home I noticed that the optic does not always come on and you have to push the button many times for it to work it's like hit and miss if it works. I also noticed that it came with a 1632 battery and I think that most come with a 2032. I left several messages with Burris last week and no return call! I just don't know what to do I got $275.00 total invested in this thing and am not happy to say the least!!! I should have just left my $30.00 dollar Truglo on the gun that has worked flawlessly for 4 seasons. I was wondering if you guys had any suggestions? Sorry to vent but im just upset.

I would send a private email to BurrisOptics who is a member of this forum. Maybe he can help. The other option is to phone customer service at Burris. Instead of leaving a voice mail, hit "O" for an operator i.e. live person and talk with them. You may have to stay on line for a few minutes but talking to a live voice is the best way to get help. Hang in there; that Burris FF3 is a good optic. You have just got a malfunction that can be corrected.

+1. But I will add, Burrisoptic WILL make it right. He is a great guy and will bend over backward to help a customer. Sorry that happened to you, but Burris will make it right.
