anyone try high velocity hevi loads?

all the turkey loads I have seen are 1090 fps, where did you see 1300-1500 fps loads

BASS PRO  10 rnds, they are duck loads.

usually don't pattern very well
the magblends that I shoot in my 20ga are 1200fps,that is the fastest turkey load that I know of in the hevi13

I agree with this in general. However, for those wanting a more open pattern at closer ranges this may work OK in certain chokes. The waterfowl loads are normally built around the assumption that chokes used will be improved cylinder, modified at most and #4,#2,B,or BB size shot are used.
That same shell in a #6 hevi-shot may pattern better for a 25-30 yard shot to give more pattern coverage than one designed for the longer distances. Once you get to these ranges why not think lead? Much cheaper and highly effective for this task. We just have too many good choices now days.
