I was planning on closing out the season here in NY by taking the last week off of work & hunting it hard. On Friday (5-24-13) that plan fell apart. My herniated & bulging discs in my lower back gave out on my way into the woods. The pain was excruciating & I am still so very sore so I think I am going to just have to eat tag soup this year until the fall. All-in-all it was a great season and I seen a lot of hens & plenty of jakes I could have shot, but just to be able to get out there & chase those longbeards I am thankful.
