What kind of Mouth Call

Well, the season is just ending here but I'm already thinking of next year.
This year upon recommendations and good reviews I tried Hook's mouth calls, and while I believe these are good quality calls and I was successful with them I had some issues regarding the size of the tape.  Hook's calls just don't seem to fit my mouth as they are too small and i have a tough time getting a good seal.  So I figured I would get a head start for next season and ask what mouth calls you guys recommend that have a larger tape section than the Hook's calls.

Hounds tooth are my favorite. The tape is definitely bigger then the Hooks. I trim my hounds tooth but hooks fit perfect.

I've been using mouth calls from Denny Gulvas exclusively for at least 5 seasons now. His tape is definitely larger than the Hook's. He would probably even build you some with bigger tape is you wanted.

I too had problems with the smaller tape on Hook's calls, but one phone call to hook's owner, Scott, and he made me what I wanted with bigger tape and I haven't looked back.  So if you like the hooks, don't think you can't get the calls with bigger tape.  Call them, they will gladly make them.  Plus Scott is a super nice guy to talk turkey too!
