   I have short term memory loss, only second to my long term memory loss. I do have a picture with my first bird, and I don't have gray hair, no belly, or wrinkles, so that was a while back

i went along on my first hunt in 1986 when we had our first turkey hunt in this county, i couldnt hunt until i was 13 the year was 1990

I was killing turkeys during the fall squirrell season as far back as 1975. I began to hunt them in a more tradtional manner in the spring in 1988.

It wasn't continuous but I killed my first turkey in 1968. Off and on until the mid 70s due to lack of birds then pretty regular after that thanks to a fellow named Ben Rodgers Lee. He was a big influence in my younger days. I lived to read his articles and books.
