first i would like to introduce myself as being from the hudson valley of new york state where i have been turkey hunting for many years and i have to say that being in the turkey woods in the spring is second to none..i'm a big fan of
oldgobbler.com and would like to thank everyone for all the knowledge and experiences that you share on the site.
this is my 2nd 2013 ny gobbler that i have taken this year and i have to say that the morning i killed this bird the birds put on a show for me that is as good if not better than i've ever seen.after watching birds strutting and gobbling on a beautiful crisp morning i coaxed this tom in for a 20 yard shot..taken with my ithaca m37 turkeyslayer with a pure gold 670 and heavy magnum blends..20 pounds 9.5 " beard and 3/4" spurs.
