Roosted this bird the night before the opener here in Kentucky all by himself. We thought he would be fired up the next morning, but he was the last bird in the area to start gobbling. We actually thought he was on the ground when he started. We had a perfect setup but got anxious and started toward him when he flew out and landed about 45 yards from us, thank goodness we had some cedars between us. Got lucky but he Ill take it.
