Need some gun advice.....(28 ga)

Just purchased an A400 action 12 ga for clays and upland bird hunting. Well, my predicament is a guy has a Beretta White Onyx 28 ga O/U in immaculent shape for $900 with all chokes and a nice case. Spent most of my slush fund for the beretta a400. I love it, but this deal seems too good to pass up and I need some advice from you clay shooters and upland hunters!!

Sounds like a great deal to me if you can swing it. Shells are a little high but if you reload then your good to go.

I'm not sure what type of upland game you hunt but I use a Berreta 28ga. S.P. for Mearn's, Bobwhite and grouse and have found my bird count went up by a good margin.  I do a lot of hiking when I hunt birds and the weight of the gun and shells make a difference too.  As far as clays go I'm not much help I have shot clay with the gun and seem to do okay.  If you're going to purchase the gun I prefer a 28" barrel.

It would be mostly for dove. It is a 28" barrel. If you could get it for $800 would u go for it?

that depends on the condition of the gun it sounds like a good deal.  personally I would not purchase a 28ga. just for dove hunting, but then again I don't dove hunt.
