Very Special Bird

This bird was the field General. He has caused me more aggravation than I deserve. Yesterday it all came together as I spent the morning at a different area and stopped back in to check this field, only to hear him frantically gobbling for his harem. The rest was a thrill. I have called in five birds to the gun so far and am having a ball. He has a double beard and weighed in at twenty three pounds. That is a heavy bird for this year as the winter was hard on the animals.
