Great Day Today!

On spring break this week, which usually means a long honey do list.  Finishing up a bath remodel that was on hold since football started, the day took a turn in the right directions.  Picked up the mail to find a box elder slate pot and brown trumpet in his old style from Pappy.  Thought alright day is getting better.  1 hour later UPS pulls into drive with PG Tempest 555 for my new Encore 20 gauge.  For someone who usually only getting bills in the mail, the day turned out pretty well.

Here is an idea, everytime you start doing honey do's hang that trumpet out of your mouth and practice.  Either you are going to be ready for opening day or there won't be as many honey dos.

Congrats on the Pappy's call.  Going to get a long box (just because I want one) and have one of his pots I wouldn't take anything for, even though I am making my own pots to give to friends and they are sounding pretty good.

What's tomorrow gonna bring?

Today brought another item, patriot spring kit for my 870.  Now that gives me an excuse to deep clean the new encore, put the spring in the 870, and try to get out to the patterning board.  I got a few honey dos done already today, so its my time.  Maybe it going to be a good week...
