Talk about a hunk of pure eye candy walnut, this stuff is unreal! I picked up a root wad driftwood hunting last year and cut some blanks and let them dry all year till now, and decided to turn something from a piece and WOW.....here she is. Glass over Glass with two strikers one paduak and the other is honey locust. Think I should go get some more of that driftwood? pappy

We have a couple of big walnut stumps with roots that have been laying out for years. Do you think we could get some good wood out of them for some calls?
