Question about Nebraska hunt...

We are going hunting in Nebraska next week and after printing out our permits today I noticed that the statement printed at the bottom of the permit says that the turkey has to be kept whole until arriving at the hunters residence. We will be hunting over a weeks span and I need some clarification or instruction on how to keep the turkeys without ruining.
