This is a field grade, enclosed reed predator call. Its a 2 piece call, with a gunstock walnut barrel and a pecan top. The top(which is the mouthpiece you blow into on these calls) is held in the barrel by dual O- rings, which makes for easy reed changes.
It has an oil finish. I did not wet sand, fill the pores and buff this call like I normally do. I simply sanded to 600 grit, inside and out, and oiled. This gives it an old school look and feel. It has wax on top of that, inside and out.
