im buying dsd decoys next weekend i know i want the jake but was wondering which hen to get or if i even need it at all

I have all three hens but if I was only getting one I would get the submissive hen to go with the Jake

I got the upright hen with my DSD jake.  A couple months ago this was brought up as well and somebody made a good point.  You can kick yourself a little divot in the dirt and not use the stake on the upright and make it look like the submissive hen.  Plus I just like the upright because if you're going to use it in a little grass it's more visible.

I like the relaxed posture of the feeder. The upright looks too alert for my personal taste.

I use the upright, and let it pull double duty as a submissive as well.

I use both feeder and upright. To me if your calling shouldn't you have one with its head up? I also agree with grass coment
