I will say gobblez makes some sweet sounding box calls. Question I have is which wood combo produces a deeper sound

I've been able to get that deep yelp with a walnut or cedar box and a bloodwood paddle. Gives that "yaulk" tone instead of a sharp, rasy yelp.

I ended up going with one of Mikes long boxes in that Bloodwood/Walnut combo, and I can't wait to get it in the mail. Thanks Mike...
