Condition is everything, and as these are no longer made the closer to new the better. They seem to have spiked a little in price since being discontinued.
Consider this before dropping several hundred dollars, parts are REALLY getting hard to find, even from Remington. Used guns will probably have either missing or broken recoil buffers in the bolt and slide extension assembly. I bought my gun used several years ago as a dedicated turkey gun, and just noticed the buffer missing in the slide extension. Noticed because i now need a new one from it being bent due to the high recoil of turkey loads. The buffers are still readily available, so if you get the gun stock up. I might have 100 turkey and another 100 goose loads through my gun, those little buffers seems very important.
