I prefer this one...but I have a biased opinion. It's a North Bay Game Calls Howler / Distress call. Truthfully, any howler should work for you as a locator as long as your making some noise with it
and there are turkeys in the area. You just need to make sure and do a short howl so you can hear if any birds respond. If you do a long drawn out howl they may shock gobble during your howl and you may not hear them.
