I have a remington 870 SP turkey gun w/23" barrel. Im going to be shooting winchester supreme #6 3" 2oz turkey loads.
I would like a choke that has a good balance for close 20 yrds and under out to about 45 yrds. What choke would be a good choice for this set up? Thanks!!

IC .665 does well in my 1187, better than a JH .660, a Ventilator .655, or an SSX .643. But all of those are good with lead. My gun patterns the cheap grey box Winch 3-1&7/8-6s better than the 3-1.75-6 or the 3-2-6s.

My gun shot the jellyhead .660 and kicks .655 with lead 3-2-6's very well

If it came with one, the remington HD choke.

If it came with one, the remington HD choke. X2 or the Rem, SF. .665,  another very good choke is the ventilator .655

The SSX works well.

Thanks,
