What is the white line for on the sight?

chatterbox

I could be wrong, but I believe it is to help center the dot in line.
That's how I use it anyway. Line to dot, dot to center of shotgun.

It's a racing stripe! NASCARRRR!

How many of yall with the fast fire still see the end of your gun barrel through the optic? and does it mess with your shooting?

whiskey

On the 12ga I can see the front sight through the FF, on the 20ga I can see the front and rear sights through the FF. It doesn't bother me at all. I have to keep my head higher off the stock for the FF, so the red dot is well above the iron sights.

I can see the end of my barrel, but it in no way impedes my ability to shoot.

Thanks for the responses, I mounted my ff on a speed bead mount on my MAXUS. And the front bead was all in the way, so I added the block that came with it to pick it up more and it is better now, but I do still see the front bead.

Shellwaster

Have you thought about removing the bead?

AUDoubleBeard

I thought about it, but decided not to considering I use it for duck hunting.
