ordered a undertaker choke for the Encore

After watching a video where a very well known hunter smoke a long beard at 50 yards with his Encore he tells his set up and load. He is using a undertaker and 120grs R-S with 1 5/8oz shot in a cup with a wad over powder. Looks convincing but we will see. reflexl

Shot it this morning. Final set up that I am going to use:

1 5/8oz Knight magnum shot #5
TC cup
.125" over powder wad
80grs 777
The thin over shot wad that came with the cups.

With this set up 40 yards is no problem. I took some buffered turkey shells apart and loaded the load less the smokeless powder over 80 grain of 777 but it was very inconsitent. reflexl

I should add that I tried loading without a shot cup. This gun didnt like that at all.

I have one of these chokes on order, might try this recipe as well.
