One of my best turkey spots is my 110 acre farm. My neighbor who owns 29 acres is logging his place now. Could this effect me in a positive way? Negative way? From what it looks like he is stripping it and not doing a select cut. The roost areas on his place will be gone. Thoughts? Just glad he is doing it now and not in april

If their stripping the place, the birds will use the clear cut a good bit this spring.

The clearcut this late fall winter a big area of timber next to our land, do the turkey just feed in the clearcut?

Tail Feathers

They will use it for nesting next year when it's grown up a bit.
They will find a suitable spot nearby if they lost a roost.
Hopefully that will be your spot.  Yes, they will feed in the clear cut.

And they'll get right in the middle of it and strut and breed and ignore every attempt to call them back to your side of the line. But hang in there cause sooner or later you'll get him.

You should be OK. They will roost somewhere nearby. Your clover will offer them a food source that they wont leave. The clear cuts will provide feeding and strutting areas.

From my experience,  the birds will relate well with the logged area.  From what I've seen,  they'll use the logging roads to feed on worms and chutes,  especially after  or during rain.

My 110 acres is all timber except for about 3 acres in food plots (clover and cereal grains).

Sounds like somewhere those turkeys would definitely want to go.

If there is a road leading to his clear cut, then sit on it. Place I hunt had a MAN of a turkey go to a new clear cut everyday. On the last two days of the season, I found a road he hit and would basically run to the clear cut.. They will roost on you, but first thing in the morning they will hit that clear cut and strut. Afternoons they should feed on your fields before fly up. You got this...
