Well I made a stupid little video from my phone a while back when I first got my trumpet in from Pappy.  It took me a while to figure out how to post it so I'm going to give it a try.  Keep in mind, I was still at work and only had this thing in my hand for about 5 minutes...hahaha... so don't be too hard on me

Well the video works, but after listening to it again... man I got a lot of practice to do before I can hunt with it.  Either way it's fun trying to pick up something new

Let me tell you something, there are a lot of guys out there who can't do that straight from the box within 5 minutes....you are surely going to master that but keep practicing.....this time next year you're gonna have a pair of spurs and a beard mounted on the shelf holding that stick!!!!!!!!!!

haha... well thanks for the compliment.  I tell you, getting to that point in the video was pretty easy for me, but getting past that is going much slower...haha... I'm still working on it.  I pull it out when I go out to check on job sites at work.

For just having it 5 minutes I'd say that you will get it real quick. I started about 6-7 months ago an am just getting to where I would be comfortable hunting with one.
Good luck and keep practicing!

I think you could kill a bird right now.

:thanks: well I'm sure gonna try.. haha... about one month till my first hunt

That was great. I think if you use your middle finger of your left hand for the back pressure you would feel better. Keep at it your gonna kill a turkey in no time.

thanks for the tip.  I've been trying many different combinations to try and get a better sound and more consistancy... so far I'm still about where I was but I try to practice on my way home from work every day
