Best sight for new gun?
February 03, 2013, 06:11:58 PM
I just purchased a Browning Gold Hunter 3.5" and I am looking for opinions on the best, most dependable sight to put on it. I have looked at the Burris some but don't even know where to start. Like, how is it mounted and which one to purchase. Thanks for any and all replies.

Sounds like Aimpoint or Eotech. But have have used a Burris FF2 for several years with no issues. I am in the market for a new redot also and have thought about both . The Votex Razor red dot also looks nice . That being said I may still go with the Burris FF3 .

If you are comfortable with the Burris , stick with it. I have a ff2 and 2 ff3 8moa and love them. Lee

You can get an eotech 512 in either black or realtree apg for $412 at optics planet. My dad has one on his that he got last season, and I just put one on mine. Very nice dependable scope with no parallax.
