Benelli M2

I just recently got a used Benelli M2 with a 26" barrel. The gun was pretty much only used a couple of years for ducks hunting. I gave it a good cleaning and borrowed a friends pure gold .670 and went to pattern it with 3" magblends, and 3" hevi 2oz #5's. I'm planning on shooting either the magblends or #6 shot.
Anyway the best I got was 102 in the 10 at 40yds with the magblends. I was pretty disappointed and wanted to know what chokes you guys with experience with the M2's have.

I've been doing quite a bit of work with the M2 in the last 3-4 months, as the weather permits and the Rob Roberts choke, the Wright's #3 and the SSX all did very well with the Magnum Blend shells. I shot 6 or 7 other chokes as well with both #6 and #7 shot. All were shot at hunting temperatures in the 40s so patterns were very realistic.

The only common factor with the chokes that did very well was that all were in the .643 - 650 range. Otherwise the internals were quite different.

I've actually shot 2 different RR chokes in the last several months in M2s and also in the Vinci. They were both .650 e.d.
