Swapping safety to lefthand on 870

Got a quick question. I'm a lefty and always shot a right handed gun, got used to usin the safety to where it was 2nd nature. I recently installed a shurshot stock on one of my 870's, and I can't reach under and use the technique ive become accustomed to using over the years to flip the safety off.. Can the safety be reversed?? If so can someone please tell me how to do it?

Im a lefty too and the Remington safetys can not be reversed... However, Brownells does sell a after market Left Hand Safety for the Remingtons.  Pretty simple to install. Search Brownells for it.
