835 and h&r single

first is mossberg 835 12ga,3 1/2" winchester black box#5 ,mad super max choke 40yrds 162 holes in a 10" circle

next is the H&R single shot 12ga 24"barrel ,3" winchester gray box#5,mossber X-full 40yrds 73 holes in a 10" circle

3.5" win black box? 3" grey box? What load weights? 
That bottom pattern is a little thin at 40. Top one is killing all day. Hows the shoulder? You picked some stompers.

just the 3.5" win supreames 2oz. and the supreame turkey loads in 3'' 1 5/8oz. and the shoulder was good. i am looking for a better pattern on the h&r right now

I wouldn't touch the 835 and might try the 3" 2oz xx win load that should bring those numbers up some.

Nice results with the 835!! I know my 835 really like's the Winchester loads. Give the Winchester High Velosity loads a try. I've had some good patterns out of my Moss 535 ATS 12ga. and Win 1300 20ga. using these loads Just my .02

i will try the winchester hv loads. what kinda choke do you shoot in your 535

My 835 didn't really like the gray box shells I have been wanting to try some hivi shot shells
