The monkey, she is officially off of my back! 

This bad rapscallion gobbled 65 times on the roost before sailing down near me. A hawk came over and started harassing him, he stepped out from behind an oak at 35 yards and died thinking that hawk had attacked him.




 








As the man said, "He ain't big, but he's ONE!" After the visions of TSS had danced in his head, I kneeled next to him and took a moment to thank God for the life of this wonderful bird that had put my patience to a real test this morning. He is easily the heaviest 2 year old turkey that I have ever taken.
