Walnut and Cherry ShadeTree Caller !

Here is a longbox I just completed for talented callmaker , Gordon Olsen . This one is made from black walnut that was salvaged from an old hayrack bult by Jim Wallace on his farm near Eminence, Missouri . The tree was cut down and sawed into lumber back in the 1940's and salvaged by Walt Winterbottom's son , Jim Chilton . The lid is made from Cherry that was sent to me by Sothern Maryland NETF president , Billy Moore . Thanks for looking !
