Sums it up but what is really scary is that even the next election will continue to place a democrat in office and this will continue. Until we stop giving so much handouts, these scumbags will continue to elect the ones giving it to them. The gravy train must stop.....

Here is what I project is going to happen:
The states that are in trouble (i.e. California) are going to leach off of the states that have managed to have a balanced budget. MS gets a lot of bad press for numerous things, but one thing that I am proud of is that we have a balanced state budget. Let me throw out there that Republicans are in the majority......and the last Democrat governor we had burned through a 15 million dollar surplus and put us in the "red". Barbour helped dig us out and to date we are reaping the benefits of conservative leadership.
What burns me up is that states that knowingly elect officials that are going to drive them of a financial cliff never wise up and fire them. California is still heavily democrat even though they are broke.....and the last thing that I want is to help out a state that is reaping the seeds they have sown. That isn't fair to other people in other states that have worked hard to elect officials that will spend and save wisely.
The thing that bothers me about that clip is that the man earned a total of 70 thousand dollars off of taxpayers money and has not one thing to show for it. He is lazy and unless he pulls it together will never contribute back into the system that he mooched off of.
This is what we have conditioned people to be, and now the chickens are coming home to roost.

Seriously? You're going to hold up Mississippi as the shining fiscal example that the rest of us should be following? Really?!!!? Mississippi?!!!!!!!!!? Mississippi consistently ranks in the top three for states that receive more federal money than they put into the system, while states like California and New York on the other hand pay more in federal taxes than what they get back. So you tell me who is leaching off of who? I wouldn't brag about having a balanced budget when a substantial portion of that budget is being subsidized by other states! Talk about socialism and a redistribution of wealth!!!

No kidding! As someone living in New York who's helping fund your state, I'd really like to see some better accountability there too. Mississippi is at or near the bottom of the list when it comes to education, healthcare, obesity (actually you're at the top of that one but you get my meaning), etc., etc. It really bothers me that your state receives my tax dollars and has nothing to show for it! At least the guy in the video acknowledges that he's getting "free money" from the government; you just want to stick your head in the sand and pretend your state isn't getting the exact same thing.

As for the video, yeah that guy is an imbecile but frankly I would be shocked if that moron has ever seen the inside of a voting booth. I'd be happy to see him dropped in the middle of the ocean some where, but at the same time anyone who truly believes that that fool represents everyone that voted for Obama is equally foolish themselves. Living in NY I know plenty of liberals, I have plenty of friends who are liberals, and I even hunt with people that are liberals. All of them are intelligent, educated, work hard, and hold down good jobs. When my views differ from theirs I can have a rational, civilized debate with them and most of the time we can acknowledge that there are legitimate points on both sides. It's amazing what can happen when you show people a little respect and don't automatically assume that you have all the answers and that anyone with a different view point is a complete idiot.

Thinking that you are right at the start of an argument is only human, but only a fool always still thinks they are right at the end.
