Here's a picture of the high score at the most recent World Championship Still Target Shoot. It was shot with a stock Mossberg 930 with a 28" barrel and the SSX Turkey Choke, using 3" Hevi-13 shotshells with 2 oz. of #6 shot. I shot that gun in both the Open and Hunter classes for 2 days.

I found that gun to be totally reliable and a patterning machine.

Thank you. We shoot with the muzzle of the gun 40 yards from the target with no rest except an elbow on a knee.

Thank you Shannon. I have some better, close-up, pictures of the 10" area and it's pretty dense all around. I'd be very confident taking that gun to the turkey woods.

Thank you very much. The season is just around the corner. Doris and I expect to be in the turkey woods on day 1 and hopefully call some birds to the gun. The "crop" looks good this year.

Great shooting Clark. My friend Steve Conover also shot a 37 at the World Championship too with his  with a custom Savage 210 bolt-action 12 gauge shotgun with an Indian Creek Black Diamond Strike choke tube. Y'all were all shooting great. The 20 gauge patterns were really good to. Hope you get to bust a few fall birds.

Thank you. We'll sure be out there giving it a try. The turkey population looks good. We had a perfect season in some respects, no rain, so no flooding of nests but a drought and very high temperatures. It does not seem however to have effected the turkey population.

Thank you. I was very pleased with the performance of the Mossberg 930 throughout the event. It's the only 12 gauge gun I shot and I shot it in both the open and hunter classes.
