Very vague question there, I wouldn't pick any part of the season better than the rest to be honest. Beginning season birds mostly have a good harem of hens, which doesn't matter if you have done you scouting and can work the flock or that special hen in the group. There on the middle of the season we typically hit a lull which can be trying at times but there again that's where your scouting pays off, and at the end of the season there can be just as good of hunting that at the start once hens are on the nest. Don't look for a ton of gobbling as our Lowcountry birds aren't known for being super vocal consistently. If where you're going holds birds and you're patient then you should be good to go.
